How many National Parks in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka has more than 26 national parks which exist within its territory. Only a few parks attract visitors while the remaining parks stay empty. Yala, Udawalawe, Wilpattu, Minneriya, Wasgamuwa, and Horton Plains stand out as the most important of the available parks. Through these paths, you can observe different animal species which include leopards that exist only in Yala and Wilpattu and all other animals. The forests full of such animals create many breathtaking views for you. The research shows how biodiversity in Sri Lanka differs from other parts of the world. Visitors can take safaris which use special safari jeeps that operate throughout all 365 days of the year.
